Having left with almost nothing from school, Dan trained in Performance Studies and started his comedy training as a student.

He has worked as a Drama Teacher, visiting lecturer as well as Primary School Head Teacher.

​

In addition, he has written for stage and screen, touring work to audiences nationally.

​

He is a regular columnist for a number of publications, and his first book is to be published internationally in 2023.

​

Further to his written work, Dan regularly speaks about culture and communication

to various audiences.
